Elizabeth listened to the audio sessions over and over until the language to use in various negotiating situations became ingrained in her subconscious.

Coaching Calls: Elizabeth took part in as many of the 10+ coaching calls each week as she could. Since all of the coaches are full-time real estate investors who make their living buying properties, she wanted to learn everything she could from them. In the beginning, she learned a great deal just by listening to the excellent advice given to more-advanced students on the Question & Answer calls as they negotiated and closed their deals. Later, she asked more questions about her own deals.
Discussion Board: Elizabeth also spent dozens of hours on the discussion board for Residential Mentoring students. This easily-searchable discussion board contains thousands of posts full of helpful advice coaches have given students regarding their deals over the past eight years. The more Elizabeth read, the more she learned.
Training Resources: Elizabeth also took advantage of the hundreds of excellent audio, video and written trainings provided to Residential Mentoring students on the members-only web site. She downloaded trainings on whatever subject she was currently trying to better understand and listened to them over and over in her car.
The Intensive Training: The three-day Intensive Training that Elizabeth attended in February 2008 marked a turning point for her. She learned a tremendous amount during two days of in-depth instruction and role-playing of the incredibly-effective Instant Offer System. With her help of her coaches, she was able to successfully negotiate with both the sellers to buy the house and the bank to accept a payoff amount far less than the total mortgage amount. And because she was buying the house at well below market prices, she could afford to price the house at an amount low enough that she could resell it three weeks later.
